Paper Making with Karen O’Neal
July 9 (Sun) – 2-3:30 PM
Bloom is delighted to host Karen O’Neal, owner of Out of Hand Papermaking Studio (OOHPS) in Ann Arbor. Karen has been an accomplished paper maker for over 20 years. She has also learned how to make papyrus and teaches the process regularly, both in her studio and at other venues. She is also active in the Ann Arbor Fiber Arts Guild.
In this workshop, Karen will teach the basic methods of traditional paper making. Attendees will be able to make one sheet of paper using mixed plant fiber. A brief overview of papermaking will be included. Registration suggested (space is limited), but walk-ins welcome. $ 10.00 fee. Ages 12 and up suggested unless accompanied by adult.
Medicinal Herb Workshop
